Ensure your boxes are strong enough by taping up the bottoms with packing tape. This will prevent your belongings falling through the bottom.

Place non breakables at the bottom of boxes. Use bubblewrap to wrap breakables. Spread your heavy items over several boxes. Try to use boxes that are the same size so that they can be stacked in a modular format and maximise the space available in your van.

Once a box is full, tape the top to prevent your belongings falling out in transit. Then label the box so you know what?s in it when it comes to unpacking at the other end.
