You must be at lest 23 years of age to hire a van from vanhire.co.uk (i.e born on/before 09th July 1985).

Am I liable for costs if the van gets damaged?

An insurance policy is included in the price of your rental. This limits your liability in respect of

- Any loss or damage recorded in the inspection report which will be issued at the end of your rental period up to the level of the Insurance Excess; or

- Any loss or damage recorded in the report which will be issued in the event of the theft of the Van or in the event of total loss of the Van to the level of the Insurance Excess.

- If any traffic offence has been committed, your insurance is invalidated.

You can reduce the excess on your vehicle by taking out a Super Collision Damage Waiver which is available to purchase when you collect your vehicle. All insurance cover is provided by the company supplying the vehicle for rental and not vanhire.co.uk. Liability for claims in excess of the insurance cover purchased rests with the hirer of the vehicle. VanHire.co.uk do not provide insurance cover of any kind in relation to the hire of the vehicle and are not liable for damages incurred in the event of an accident.

What must I bring with me when I collect the vehicle?

When collecting your van you must bring the following documentation:

- A copy of your voucher

- Valid driving license. Please note that if you have a photo card driving license you must also bring the paper counterpart.

- Photo ID (passport) - A valid credit card - You must also provide 2 valid forms of identification in the drivers name when collecting the vehicle. The two forms of ID should be utility bills that are no more than 6 months old and must display the address of the driver.

What is a voucher?

A voucher is required when you collect your van to allow the location staff to allocate your vehicle.

Can I cancel my booking?

Sorry, reservations cannot be cancelled.

Can I book by telephone?

Unfortunately we do not allow telephone reservations.

What if I breakdown?

A breakdown number will be supplied on the contract you sign upon collecting your vehicle.
