As Scotland's largest city Glasgow is an economic hub for west Scotland. Glasgow lies within the so called 'Silicon Glen' - a belt of high tech Scottish industries taking in Fife and Stirling.

Glasgows West End is home to bars, cafes and restaurants. The East end houses Barrowlands Market and Celtic Park.

The M8 motorway passes through Glasgow city centre.
